Rome Eternal Rome!

There is something monumentally thrilling about walking by the Colosseum in Rome. It is hard to comprehend the exact feeling, but the enormity of the structure, the hustle-and-bustle on nearby cobblestone streets, the smell of Italian food, and yes, the tremendous history the place holds, combine to stamp your visit with staggering awe.
Thinking back to my first visit to Rome, it was filled with worry. I literally had no clue what to do or where to go. And while I had the standard travel brochures, telling me what I should do, I was overwhelmed by the lack of knowing how to do it! I simply did not know how to plan for my time in Rome.

But now that I speak the language and know my way around, I enjoy my visits to Rome in a completely different way. I get those awestruck moments watching my clients see the Colosseum for the first time. I am tickled to no end as I guide people to the top of the Victor Emmanuel Monument (Wedding Cake Monument), reaching the backside with its spectacular view of the Roman Ruins, and seeing their faces light up. Each time I visit Rome with clients I find new discoveries and new surprises! The city is steeped in history.

When you visit Rome with me, we will take a stroll through the city during the day and hit all the regular well known areas (maybe even a few not so famous). One of my favorite activities, to see the true Rome, is to take “una passeggiata,” a walk in the evening after a nice plate of fresh made pasta. The temperature is almost comfortable and everyone seems a bit more relaxed, since all the tourist places closed for the night.

But let’s be real anytime is a good time to see Rome. Here is a list of the places you will go in Rome with me as your coach: St. Peter’s Square and Basilica, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, the Colosseum, Roman Forum Palatine Hill, Imperial Forum, Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Victor Emmanuel Monument, Circus Maximus, and Compo de Fiori.
And there are so many more locations.
