It was a fun night with a AnnaMaria and Mariaemilia from Palazzo Torriani as they shared Italian recipes handed down through the generations. We learned how the Italians prepare spinach pasta for ravioli, also the ricotta and parmesan cheese filling. We also tried our hand at making a simple but delicious creamed ricotta cheese with Mortadella on a crustini as an antipasto.
Part 2 of this months cooking class will be held on Sunday September 20th at 2pm CST.
We will be learning how to make Uccellini scapati (beef rolls with sage ham and parmesan cheese), Meringa (meringue with cream and fresh fruit)
