E sempre stato tutto qui. Sembra che tutti ci muoviamo attraverso la vita e a volte le cose prendanno lunghe strade per realizzarsi.
Prendiamo per esempio la mia amicizia con Lex ed Ellen. Ci siamo incontrati diciamo 7 o 8 anni fa. Mi sono divertita con loro durante le feste, c’eranno sempre negli alti e bassi della mia vita di espatriata e condivido con loro le mie avventure dei viaggi in Italia. Mi hanno sempre aiutato in tanti modi, per non parlare del fatto che sono la mia salvezza perché parlano correttamente Inglese e Italiano.
Sappiamo tutti come anche Anna Maria e Mariaemilia hanno cambiato il mio tempo e la mia vita a Marradi.
E adesso c’è l’ultima aggiunta al viaggio della mia vita, Alessandra. Lei è una giornalista, che conosce Inglese e Spagnolo. Mi è stato dato il suo nome come la persona che potesse aiutare con il mio italiano, tuttavia, ho scoperto che lei è molto più! In pochissimo tempo siamo diventate buone amiche.
Questo mi porta ad oggi e a questa foto. In collaborazione con questi grandi amici abbiamo deciso di promuovere e investire insieme in Marradi. Continuerò a lavorare per portare i miei clienti a Marradi e per invogliarli a godere l’esperienza di trekking con Lex ed Ellen nelle montagne circostanti Marradi. Anche Lex farà alcuni tour alla Vena del Gesso a Brisighella. Ellen, come fotografa, fara con piacere delle belle foto dei miei clienti come ricordo di loro visita a Marradi.
I clienti saranno ospitati a Palazzo Torriani, come negli ultimi anni, coccolati da Anna Maria e Mariaemilia offrendo la loro ospitalità come solo loro possono e sanno fare. Come bonus aggiuntivo gli ospiti possono anche imparare la cucina tradizionale della regione, e poi godere una serata mangiando e in buona compagnia.
Alessandra, racconterà ai clienti in giro per Marradi tutti i segreti del territorio facendoli conoscere alla gente del posto.
Avrò circa 45 clienti in Italia quest’anno, con oltre 30 in arrivo per un’esperienza a Marradi. Siamo tutti in attesa di condividere tutte le cose buone di questa comunità. Come ho detto a volte le soluzioni più ovvie sono proprio davanti a se, ci vuole solo una collaborazione di grandi persone per renderlo possibile.

It has always been right here. It seems as we all move through life sometimes the things that seemed so obvious, take the longest to accomplish.
Take for example my friendship with Lex and Ellen, we met say 7 or 8 years ago. I have enjoyed time with them over holidays, ups and downs of my expat life, and sharing my adventures of my travels in Italy. They have always helped me in so many ways, not to mention that they are my salvation because they speak fluent English and Italian for that matter.
We all know how Anna Maria and Mariaemilia have changed my time and life in Marradi as well.
Next there is the newest addition to my life’s journey Alessandra. I was given her name as someone who could help me with my Italian. She is a journalist. In a very short time we have become, I would say, good friends.
This brings me to today and this photo. In collaboration with these great friends we have decided to promote and invest in Marradi together. I will continue to work on bringing my clients to Marradi and to entice them to enjoy a trekking experience with Lex and Ellen in the mountains surrounding Marradi. Also Lex will be doing some tours in the gypsum area of Brisighella. Ellen will offer to capture beautiful photos as part of my clients memories of Marradi.
Clients will be accommodated in Palazzo Torriani, as in the past several years, while being pampered by Anna Maria and Mariaemilia offering their hospitality as only they can in there beautiful home. As an added bonus guests can have a private pasta making cooking class with an evening of enjoying each others company.
Alessandra, as a journalist knows the country and will tell clients about Marradi and surroundings, while introducing them to the locals.
I will have approximately 45 clients coming to Italy this year, with over 30 arriving for an experience in Marradi. We are all looking forward to sharing all the good things about this community. As I said sometimes the most obvious solutions are right before you, it just takes a collaboration of great people to make it possible.
